SHIPPING & HANDLING COSTS
Shipping costs for orders within the continental U.S. are based on weight and calculated in the cart.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Expedited shipping is calculated after the order is packaged and is based on weight and destination. I will contact you with the exact shipping fees and verify the shipping address beforehand. There will be separate charge via a custom fee on the website.
SHIPPING METHODS
Orders within the continental US are shipped via USPS with tracking and insurance. Check out your purchase at the current shipping price and I will charge you the difference separately once you have confirmed the new shipping method. Also, if you are in the Austin area and would like to arrange a local pickup. Enter LOCALPICKUP code and email me to schedule a pickup.
PLEASE NOTE that I do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
ALASKA, HAWAII and PUERTO RICO orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Priority Mail also includes tracking and insurance.
INTERNATIONAL
Individual country fees are based on weight and will be calculated in the cart.
SHIPPING TIME
All orders will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. Continental US shipping usually takes 2 to 7 business days.
ALASKA, HAWAII and PUERTO RICO take 10+ days.
PAYMENT
I accept credit cards, Stripe, and PayPal.
SALES TAX
Texas sales tax of 8.25% is assessed on orders shipped to, or bought in the state of Texas.
RETURNS
All sales are final. In the unlikely event of damage during shipment, it is important that you keep all of the original product and packaging and notify me within 2 days of receipt, along with photographs to arrange a solution.
All measurements are approximate but mostly within 1/2". If you're uncertain of a size, I urge you to measure another similar piece you may have at home to get a proper perspective on a size. Keep in mind all items are handmade and details will vary, even if the style is the same. I do my best to show this in the photos and descriptions. Feel free to ask specific questions.
Hand washing is recommended but all ceramics are dishwasher safe, unless otherwise noted. Use a brush to clean all the nooks and crannies from any food or dirt. The pieces are microwave safe, but not recommended. Do not use in an oven unless the piece is stated for such use.
On many of ClayKat's pieces the rims and bottoms are unglazed and can have a slightly rough texture; please take care when placing on your furniture or other delicate surfaces.
While fired stoneware and porcelain is strong, treat all of your pieces with extra care.
STONEWARE/PORCELAIN/GLAZES/
Please note: since all products are handcrafted, there may be slight variations in color, textures, finish and dimensions.
Each piece is either handmade or wheel thrown and loaded with individual characteristics. These are all part of what make each piece unique. Not all glazes used are lead-free and food-safe. If the glaze is not food safe and should be used for decoration only, it will be stated in the description. Be careful with highly-staining foods on matte white pieces. Anything acidic can ruin a piece. Each piece is stamped with ClayKat's mark.
Please recycle and be mindful of the environment.
Whenever possible, we use recycled, good-condition packaging. If this is a gift and you require new boxes, please contact me.
