Fern Valley Round Platter

The Fern Valley collection takes its name and inspiration from Fern Canyon in California, where the canyon walls are covered in lush green ferns, adorned with millions of spores. Each platter in this collection is unique and varies in appearance due to different glazing techniques used during the creation process.

The platters have a base of satin green glaze, which is then layered with a glaze that transitions into a more vibrant emerald green color. This layered glaze creates a crystallized effect that develops at different times during the firing process, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
